How To Block (Or Allow) Multiple Entries From The Same IP Address

This feature will make it so the same user and or can’t enter multiple times with two different email addresses. We put in advanced safe guards to prevent cheating with this feature.

Admin view

First, navigate to create a new giveaway or edit an existing giveaway.

Next, navigate to the Basic Info tab and tick the the Open security settings checkbox.

Next, tick the Block duplicate IP addresses checkbox. You can now enter How many times can a person join your contest? This will restrict how many times the same IP address can be used to join a contest. Example: if you set it to 5, then 5 different people with 5 unique email addresses can enter your contest.

Note: the above example will allow an individual person to enter using 1 different email address. If you want to allow users to join multiple times, you can set it to a higher number.

If the same user tries to login with a different email address, they will be blocked and get the following error message:
