Best Tools to Run a TikTok Giveaway (and How to Choose)
The best tools to run a TikTok giveaway depend on how people enter. For a comment giveaway on one video, a comment picker such as Comment Picker, Rafflys or Pikkik draws a random winner in a few minutes. If you want several entry actions, an email from every entrant or entries from other platforms, use a hosted giveaway platform such as SweepWidget or Gleam.
This guide covers what each type of tool does well, which tools are worth a look, and how to choose. We make SweepWidget, so for the other tools we’ve only described what each one is publicly known for. Prices are left out because they change too often to be useful here.
What no TikTok giveaway tool can do
TikTok’s API doesn’t let outside tools check follows, likes or video views. That’s true for every giveaway tool, ours included.
So TikTok giveaway tools work in one of two ways:
- Comment pickers read the comments on your video. You get a list of real comments, but no proof that the commenter followed you.
- Hosted giveaway platforms ask entrants to confirm the username they used after following, liking, commenting or sharing.
Either way, check the winner’s TikTok profile by hand before you announce them. If they didn’t do what your rules asked, disqualify them and draw again. You only check the winner, so it’s quick.
Comment picker or hosted giveaway?
“Comment and tag a friend to enter” is the most common TikTok giveaway format. It’s easy to enter because people never leave the app.
The downside is that you get a winner, not a customer list. A hosted giveaway sends people to an entry page. There they earn entries for TikTok actions and for things like a newsletter signup, and you keep every entrant’s email.
Pick a comment picker if you want engagement on one video and a quick draw. Pick a hosted platform if you want emails, sales, or entries from more than one platform.
Comment pickers for TikTok
Comment Picker
Best for: a quick draw. Paste the video link, filter out duplicate users, and draw. It also covers Instagram, YouTube and other platforms, which helps if you run giveaways in more than one place.
Rafflys (AppSorteos)
Best for: showing your audience the result. Rafflys draws from TikTok comments with filters, and gives you a winner certificate (image or video) you can share.
Pikkik
Best for: TikTok-only giveaways. Pikkik is built for TikTok comments, and you can also export the comments.
ExportComments
Best for: keeping a record, or doing the draw yourself. Its main job is exporting comments to a spreadsheet, with every username and comment. That’s useful if you want a full list of entries on file.
One check for any comment picker: free versions usually cap how many comments they load. If your video has more comments than the cap, you’re not drawing from everyone.
Hosted giveaway platforms for TikTok
SweepWidget
Best for: TikTok giveaways that also build an email list or run across several platforms.

- Six TikTok entry actions: visit a profile, follow, watch a video (it plays inside the giveaway, and credit is given on click), like, comment and share.
- A quick start. Use a TikTok template, or describe your giveaway and let the AI builder set it up for you to edit.
- Other platforms in one giveaway. Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Bluesky and Telegram actions are checked through those platforms’ APIs, so you get a stronger sign that entrants are real.
- TikTok Pixel tracking (Pro and up). See giveaway page views and entries in TikTok Ads Manager, and build audiences to retarget entrants. Useful if you promote the giveaway with TikTok ads.
- A built-in random draw with optional minimum or maximum entry counts, a Live Draw for streams (paid plans), plus email verification (Enterprise plan) and security settings (Pro plan and up).
Keep in mind: SweepWidget doesn’t pick winners from the comments on a TikTok video. For a pure comment giveaway, use a comment picker. There’s a free plan with unlimited campaigns and entries, and you can view or download up to 10 entrants’ emails.
Gleam
Best for: teams that want a giveaway tool alongside other marketing apps.
Gleam is a set of marketing apps. Its Competitions app runs hosted giveaways with entry actions across many social platforms, TikTok among them. Its TikTok actions are View on TikTok and Follow on TikTok.
ViralSweep
Best for: online stores running giveaways across several channels.
ViralSweep runs hosted sweepstakes and giveaways, and rewards purchases on Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce stores. Its comment giveaway app covers Facebook, Instagram and YouTube rather than TikTok, so for a TikTok comment draw you’d still need a separate picker.
How to choose a TikTok giveaway tool
Work through these questions in order.
- Is it comments only? A comment picker is enough. Check its comment cap against your video.
- Do you want emails or sales? You need a hosted platform. Comment pickers don’t collect contact details.
- Is it TikTok only? If you also want Instagram, YouTube or Discord entries, choose a platform that covers them all in one giveaway, with one draw.
- Are you running TikTok ads? Pixel tracking shows which ad clicks turned into entries and lets you retarget entrants.
- How will you keep entries real? Look for email verification, fraud settings, and at least one action a platform can actually check.
- Can you show the draw was fair? Look for a results page, a record of the draw, or a live draw you can show on screen.
- What will it cost at your size? Compare free-plan limits with the comments or entries you expect.
Whichever tool you choose, check TikTok’s rules for promotions and publish clear rules of your own.
Before you draw: a quick checklist
- Wait for the end date and time.
- Remove duplicate entries and accounts from your own team.
- Draw at random, and record your screen while you do it.
- Check the winner’s TikTok profile against your rules.
- Contact the winner and give them a deadline to reply. Announce them once they confirm.
