The Advanced Options section in the Entry Methods tab gives you additional control over how participants interact with your giveaway. These options let you redirect users after completion, customize terminology, and control the entry flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Access Advanced Options<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create or edit a giveaway<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the Entry Methods<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Scroll down below your entry methods to find the Advanced options<\/strong> section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Available Advanced Options<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Redirect URL After Completion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Plan Required:<\/strong> Pro or higher<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Automatically redirect participants to a specific URL after they’ve completed all entry methods. This is useful for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Sending users to a thank you page<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Redirecting to your store or product page<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Directing participants to additional content or offers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sending users to a survey or feedback form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      How to use:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Enter the full URL in the text field (must include https:\/\/)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. When participants complete all available entry methods, they’ll be automatically redirected<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Important:<\/strong> This feature does not work if you’re using the “Refer-A-Friend” entry method. The viral sharing feature requires users to stay on the giveaway page to share their referral link, so automatic redirection is disabled when this entry method is active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Custom Entry Terminology (Entries, Points, or Custom)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Plan Required:<\/strong> Pro or higher<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        By default, participants earn “Entries” for completing actions. You can change this to match your brand or campaign style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Available options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Entries<\/strong> (default) \u2013 Participants earn “1 Entry”, “5 Entries”, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Points<\/strong> \u2013 Participants earn “1 Point”, “5 Points”, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Something custom…<\/strong> \u2013 Define your own terminology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Using custom terminology:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          When you select “Something custom…”, two additional fields appear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Singular version<\/strong> \u2013 What participants earn for 1 (e.g., “Ticket”, “Coin”, “Star”)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Plural version<\/strong> \u2013 What participants earn for multiple (e.g., “Tickets”, “Coins”, “Stars”)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            This terminology will appear throughout the giveaway widget wherever entry counts are displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            3. Sequential Entry Order<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Plan Required:<\/strong> Business or higher<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Force participants to complete entry methods in a specific sequence. When enabled, users must complete entry method #1 before they can access entry method #2, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            How to enable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Check the box: “Require participants to complete the entry methods in the order you have above”<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Arrange your entry methods in the desired order using drag-and-drop<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Save your giveaway<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Use cases:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Lead generation funnel<\/strong> \u2013 Ensure users subscribe to your newsletter before unlocking social follow actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Step-by-step engagement<\/strong> \u2013 Guide users through a specific journey (e.g., “Visit our website” \u2192 “Read the article” \u2192 “Answer a question”)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Mandatory first action<\/strong> \u2013 Make sure everyone completes a critical action (like joining your Discord) before accessing bonus entries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Progressive disclosure<\/strong> \u2013 Reveal additional entry methods as rewards for completing earlier ones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                How it works for participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                • Entry methods they can’t access yet will appear locked\/greyed out<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • After completing an entry method, the next one becomes available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
